“A Friend is one of the best things you can be and the greatest things you can have”
— Sarah Valdez

What it means to be a Friend of the COA
The Friends of the COA plays a vital role in supporting and funding activities and programs for Boxford residents who are 60+.
Get involved! In addition to funding, The Friends help by volunteering their time and talents. There are so many opportunities for you to help — in ways that fit your skills, your lifestyle, and the time you have to give!
Our History
The Friends of the Boxford COA has been active in town for over 40 years. Most of those years were under the leadership of Marianne Quirk, and John & Judy Granahan. We are so grateful for their commitment to generations of Boxford Seniors.
The Friends provide a lifeline to our neighbors at a crucial time in their lives. Our vision is to build upon the efforts of our predecessors with kindness, hope, respect and friendship.
Thank you from the Board of The Friends,
Liz Murphy, Ken Thompson, Chris Cable, Judy Andersen, Suzy Arsenault, Alicia Caron, Sandy Karcher, John Shirley
